California has struggled to build enough homes for decades, causing high prices and homelessness. "Local control" has made it hard to construct new housing, as residents often oppose building in their neighborhoods. This has led to very little new housing being built for nearly 50 years, making housing costs skyrocket.

We are a part of a coalition working to educate the public about ways to expand housing in the Bay Area.
