About the Event
With a housing crisis on our hands, only exacerbated by COVID-19, we're working to ensure all our neighbors can find attainable housing in Marin. As a part of our Regional Housing Needs Allocation (RHNA) process, the California Department of Housing and Community Development determines the number of housing units we need to build and how affordable they need to be to meet the housing needs of residents of all income levels.
So, what is our housing need, and how can we meet it? We explore how we can address these questions with our incredible panel:
- Elise Semonian (Planning Director, Town of San Anselmo)
- Omar Carrera (Chief Executive Officer, The Canal Alliance)
- Leelee Thomas (Planning Manager, Marin County Community Development Agency's Housing; Federal Grants Division)
- Moderator: Linda Jackson (Program Director, Aging Action Initiative)
