Housing Summit III: "How to Make Housing Real"

Hello Housing Advocate! We hope you'll join us on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at 5:00 - 7:00 pm (PT) for the third convening of the Marin Housing Summit! Your town will be updating your housing plan over the next two years. Housing Crisis Action (HCA) and the Marin Environmental Housing Collaborative (MEHC) are hosting a series of forums about housing element plans. Join us for this summit on why you should be involved in the housing element process, how you can make a difference, and what’s happening in your town. Topics will include a review of the current housing element (what worked and what we need to do differently), what you need to know to be involved now, and an opportunity to meet with others in your area to get organized. We're excited to reconvene the 60+ diverse organizations and partners focused on housing who participated in our previous summits and welcome new participants to join us as we share resources, grow together, and enact positive change that will lead to more housing. This is a collaboration with the Marin Environmental Housing Collaborative and Aging Action Initiative. Speakers will be announced shortly! *This event is exclusively for pro-housing advocates and those working on housing locally.* Be sure to invite your friends, colleagues, and neighbors interested in addressing the housing crisis in Marin.
